Who We Are

UK Pay Calculator is built and run by Fluvette, a small independent team focused on one thing: free financial calculators that give you a straight, accurate answer without a login, a paywall, or a sales pitch.

We're not a bank, a comparison site, or a claims company trying to sell you something once you've got your number. There's nothing to buy here. The calculators exist because working out your actual take-home pay, pension impact, or loan repayment shouldn't require a spreadsheet or a call to an accountant.

Why We Built This

Most free tax calculators online are either years out of date, riddled with ads before you can see a result, or built to funnel you toward a financial product. We wanted something different: a set of calculators that are fast, clear, and genuinely kept current for each tax year.

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into a calculator is sent to a server, stored, or shared. You can read exactly how in our Privacy Policy.

How We Keep the Numbers Right

Every rate is checked against the primary source Tax bands, National Insurance thresholds, student loan repayment terms, and pension rules are verified directly against HMRC, gov.uk, and the Student Loans Company, not copied from other calculator sites.

Calculations are independently re-tested Before any change ships, the maths behind it is re-run separately from the calculator's own code, across a range of salaries and scenarios, to catch mistakes before you ever see them.

Tools are updated for each new tax year Thresholds and allowances change every April. We update the calculators to match, and say clearly on each page which tax year the figures apply to.

We tell you when something's a simplification UK tax has genuine edge cases. Where a calculator simplifies one, we say so on the page rather than quietly guessing.
