Privacy Policy

How ukpaycalculator.uk handles your data — and why there's very little to handle.

Last updated: June 2026

The short version: the calculators collect no personal data whatsoever. Every number you enter stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere. The only data collected relates to general analytics and advertising — both are standard, optional, and explained in full below.

Who We Are

This website, ukpaycalculator.uk, provides free financial calculators for UK users including take-home pay, salary sacrifice planning, savings, and loan calculations. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at admin@fluvette.com.

What the Calculators Collect

Nothing. Salary figures, tax codes, pension percentages, loan amounts, and all other values you enter are processed entirely within your own browser using JavaScript. This information is:

  • Never transmitted to our servers
  • Never stored in a database
  • Never shared with any third party
  • Completely erased when you close or refresh the page

We have no technical ability to see what you have entered into any calculator on this site.

Cookies

This website uses cookies in the following limited ways:

1. Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — for example, how many people visit, which calculators are most used, and what devices are common. This helps us improve the tools.

Google Analytics collects this information anonymously and does not identify you personally. You can opt out across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

2. Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense)

We display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, allowing relevant adverts to be shown across the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google's Ad Settings or via aboutads.info. For more information see Google's Privacy Policy.

3. Consent Preference Cookie

When you respond to the cookie banner, a small cookie is stored locally to remember your choice. It contains only your yes/no preference — no personal information — and means the banner won't reappear on future visits.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) you have the right to:

  • Withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies
  • Opt out of personalised advertising via Google's Ad Settings
  • Request information about any personal data held about you (as noted above, we hold none from the calculators)
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

Third-Party Links

Our calculators include links to third-party websites such as HMRC, the Student Loans Company, and gov.uk. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies separately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, when tax year rates change or if we add new tools. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
